Killings turn focus on S.F. sanctuary law

I agree they all need to be in jail and the illegal needs the death penalty. Our government is so corrupt! We need to clean them all out and start over!

The city of San Francisco has idiots for attorneys (oops, all attorneys are idiots, I mean theirs are criminals) and have made the city criminally liable under California state law. San Francisco is vicariously liable and I have to agree with the obvious...they are aiding and abetting criminals. Since they want autonomy, the President (meaning George Bush) should cut off all federal aid and grants to the city and immediately move all federal departmental and department of defense (DOD) organizations out of the city. The city should feel the bite from losing all those jobs and income from their physical structure support (utilities) and see what they think about that. The FBI should not enter the city limits to assist with any crime allowing the city to deal with their own problems. The final issue is one of fact; the mayor, and district attorney should be forced to adopt these criminals, take them to live in their home and be immediately responsible for their every action.

The whole illegal immigrations fiasco would not even exist if in the late 1980s and early 1990s the politicians hadn't turned to jelly and downsized the military. They should have mandated the Pentagon to redirect the forces returning from Europe to our borders (meaning all four directions on the compass) to patrol twenty-four hours, seven days a week (24/7.) The impact of all that armor (Bradleys and M1 Abrhams tanks) rolling ten to twenty yards apart and Soldiers shooting anyone crossing on sight without questioning them would have prevented all the time and money wasted on the complete issue of illegal immigration. The US Navy and Marines can very easily secure our east and west coasts and the US Army likewise with our southern and northern borders. The US Air Force can be utilize to employ predator drones against all persons (foreign and domestic) who are observed in the act of trafficking these good people who clearly do not belong in our country and are trying to get in less than legally. Special Operations can be employed to surgically remove the drug threat to our country when ever required (and that seems to be all the time) both inside and outside our borders.

The United States has been a friendly country and remains a friendly country, but we need to deal directly and forcibly with the small crap so it doesn't become the festering wound we now suffer. There are legal ways to gain access to our country and people should use those or suffer the consequences (even under the threat of death on site if caught invading our country.) We are directly responsible for the 9/11 events ourselves as a country, on the whole when you think about it. We allow these people to enter illegally and then foster their sorry little butts when the right thing is to toss them out or jail them. The namby-pambies that pour out their bleeding hearts to defend their so called rights (and they don't have any since they entered illegally) should be force to take them into their homes and be responsible for their every act. Those terrorists that entered the country and carried out the 9/11 acts were here because of the namby-pambies. These are the people that should be jailed in GTMO along with the terrorist and share the same fates. If I lived on the southern border I would definitely begin nightly national defense, recreational hunts nightly as I used to do for coyotes and other predators. A cash reward should be offered by the governments at all levels to prevent the "soft invasion" of our borders that leads to events such as 9/11. One day all Americans will wake up to the rising of a different flag and potentially some sorry butt dictator having taken over this country thru this "soft invasion." I dread that day and hope it doesn't happen, but we are certainly headed that way.

There is no such thing as an undocumented immigrant. An immigrant is, by definition:

An alien who has been granted the right by the USCIS to reside permanently in the United States and to work without restrictions in the United States. Also known as a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR).

A nonimmigrant is:

An alien who has been granted the right by the USCIS to reside temporarily in the United States.

An illegal alien is someone who doesn't belong here and should be shipped back to their country.

everything has to come down to liberal this right winger that. the article even says that the individual departments took the sanctuary ordinance too far. that is to say that the people that passed it didn't mean it to harbor felons. that being said, why are we protecting illegal aliens. i'm sure lots of them are good people, but i think they call them ILLEGAL aliens for a reason. criminals or not, they should be deported if found out. this guy's priors should have been enough, but it sounds more like horrible communication, not liberals, that let this psyco stay in the states.

Vote out the incumbents and get new people in office that have the legal citizens right of this country as their main goal.

Rhonda, I read a very interesting article in our local newspaper on how illegal immigrants from Central America are treated in Mexico. The disparity between our two countries was incredible. Mexican employers treat their illegals horrendously.

Why do you think they are coming here? Minimum wage labor jobs look great by comparison!

If you are an American and you want to go to Mexico to live and work you have a BIG Surprise coming.

I COMPLETELY AGREE that these Sanctuary laws are ridiculous and COMPLETELY UNTOLERABLE! Believe it or not Most of us "LIBERALS" really aren't that sympathetic to these sort of measures. The Liberal policies that I believe in should only be in place for "CITIZENS"
There is a new breed of young kids who think that everyone regardless of their actions should be protected and supported by their GOV and that the GOV should also pay their rent and buy their groceries, Unfortunately for me they've decided to call themselves "Liberals".
Illegal Immigrants NEED to be deported back to their home faster than 2 steps across the border. If they want to move somewhere to make a better life for them and their families, then they need to do it right and according to our laws.

I've always found it strange that millions come over here every year and refuse to even attempt to learn about the Country they've decided to call their new home. If I even just travel to another country for a WEEK, I spend a good amount of time studying and learning at least a little about their culture, laws and ways, and also a decent amount of their language OUT OF RESPECT of being a visitor. There is no reason whatsoever that any MExican Immigrant legal or not should not put in the effort to do the same for the country they're permanently relocating too. It's reckless and disrespectful.

Bottom Line, I as a "BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL" will always believe and support and act upon the fact that our GOV needs and should be protecting it's real natural Citizens before ANYTHING and ANYONE Else. That's as liberal as it gets.

This issue is just going to keep getting more out of hand every week until Dems, REP, Libs and 3rds, stop creating ways to blame one another and start being "AMERICANS" and stand up and protect our homes and families. But do so while still knowing that we aren't the only country in this world.

How are we ever going to be able to welcome anyone to our country if we can't even organize and support ourselves?
