This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

"If I have to make one more movie with Ben Stiller, I'll kill myself"

I like Owen Wilson. Hopefully, it was just the drugs talking.

He has been one of my favorite actors ever since Bottle Rocket. I hope he recovers and gets the help he needs.

    Wow. Just wow.

The trappings of success are sometimes just that, a trap. A very engaging actor, but a human being first.

    Lets all wish him well

Remember that the sources aren't exactly strong. It may or may not be true.

    lhornung,

Your observation is correct. On digg they are already burying it as an unverified rumor.

    All the best,

I too am offended by any celebrity with less than perfect features. It is the responsibility of these people to bring to light our own shortcomings as mere mortals. Imagine...a crooked nose! What's next? A gap tooth? An ounce of fat?

It's sad when anyone tries to commit suicide.

It's a little suspect, though, the way he went about it.

It's mostly women who try slitting wrists (superficial cuts, BTW, the news stated) and taking pills to end it. Men tend to be more violent (and therefore successful) - via guns or hanging. Could it be simply a call for attention rather than a real desire to kill himself? Or, could it perhaps be some kind of ridiculous publicity stunt to draw attention to the new movie? Look what gets the media attention these days - the likes of Lindsay and Paris and the other one who I don't even know her name.

I heard on the radio that a little while after he was rushed to the hospital, a crime investigator was seen at his house.

Many comedians and actors suffer from depression and thus their fate is all the same: Suicide, overdose, murder. It's the price of fame -- being loves by everyone, but you can't love yourself.

It's funny how everyone thinks he tried to kill himself when nobody has even said anything about anything.

"I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time," Wilson said in a statement.

No official statement on what the problem is has been made my himself, his agent, his friends or family - this 'suicide' claim seems to have come from nowhere.

It's sad that he's asked for privacy, and he's now getting the complete opposite. The press reporting that he wants privicy is not respecting his wish.
